The completion of a nine-mile security fence replacement project at the base highlights ongoing efforts to enhance security and infrastructure at RNAS Culdrose. Additionally, the relocation of the veteran Hawk T1 aircraft for display signifies the base’s commitment to preserving its aviation heritage.
750 Naval Air Squadron is also undergoing modernization with the refurbishment and upgrade of its Beechcraft 350ER Avenger T1 airframes. This program includes the addition of advanced technologies such as an electro-optical camera system and electronically scanned radar.
Looking ahead, RNAS Culdrose is set to participate in the Future ISTAR and Rear Crew Training System program, which will train mission crews for a variety of aircraft operated by the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
